Darcy Roop a étudié à l’université OCAD (Toronto, ON) en illustration. Elle est une artiste multidisciplinaire et affectionne particulièrement la joie que les petites choses peuvent nous apporter.
Son univers naïf et fantaisiste se déploie sous divers médiums, comme le crayon de bois, la peinture, la céramique et le textile, en évoquant les thèmes du jeu et du désir sans son esthétique à la fois innocent et profond.

Darcy Roop studied Illustration at OCADU (Toronto, ON). She is a multidisciplinary artist with a commitment to small reminders of joy.
Her imagery is naive and whimsical and she loves exploring different art-making methods, such as coloured pencils, painting, ceramic, and textiles. Her work often invokes an ethereal world and emphasizes themes of play and longing.
